Summary for October 2, 2007
Welcome to the Grand Opening of BrewZone.com! This is just the
beginnings of what we hope will become a site crammed with a temptingly
wide array of more or less useful articles. To enhance
navigation through them, we will organize them into four themes:
Adventures, Techniques, Critiques and Prosperity. We are launching with
just two themes, Adventures and Techniques, including three main
topical areas related to some current obsessions.
First, we have a few Adventures articles about our migration from the
US to New Zealand, including Deciding to Migrate, Researching Migration
and Choosing New Zealand. This series will continue with topics such as
our actual application process and a review of how well NZ has lived up
to our expectations.
Also in our Adventures section we have a couple of NZ travel bits- our
first NZ adventure to the Coromandel Peninsula, and some tips for
traveling in NZ. We will continue to add our experiences, such as our
trips to Akaroa and Kaikoura and our hike to the Heaphy Hut.
We are also launching with some Techniques related to photography.
Panoramas are still a consuming passion, so we provide some guidance on
Shooting a Handheld Panorama and Using Autostitch software to create
the image. We can’t wait to see what panos you create. Also,
we are sharing a fun discovery we made in recent months of a technique
to Create Fake Miniatures- it’s amazing how easily almost any
scene can be made so adorable! We want to see more of these, too.
We genuinely hope that you enjoy touring through our first bits, and we
look forward to tons of comments that will help us improve what we are
producing. Use the Subscribe link at the bottom to get delivery (via
RSS feed) of our continuing updates. You can also get comment feeds if
you want to follow a discussion on a specific topic by using the link
at the end of each article.
